BioVerve is a UK-based supplement company focused exclusively on high-quality single-ingredient formulations. Each product is built around a single active ingredient, selected for its established research interest and produced to a clearly defined specification. BioVerve was founded in 2007 following direct involvement in the sourcing and supply of botanical powders and extracts from their regions of origin. Early experience working with plant materials highlighted the variability that exists within the supplement supply chain — particularly around consistency and standardisation. Over time, this led to a more focused approach: selecting individual ingredients based on defined active compound content or purity, and working with specialist manufacturers able to support those specifications through documented processes and analytical testing. BioVerve works with established ingredient manufacturers recognised for their technical expertise and long-standing role within the supplements industry. Many develop proprietary ingredients supported by patents, trademarks, or protected manufacturing processes, allowing the consistent production of well-defined active compounds. BioVerve’s sourcing approach has evolved alongside the range of ingredients we work with. Some botanical extracts are sourced from regions where plants are traditionally grown or harvested, using either cultivated or responsibly wild-harvested material where appropriate. Other ingredients, including non-botanical compounds, are produced through controlled manufacturing processes that do not rely on agricultural sourcing. Rather than applying a single sourcing model, ingredients are selected based on suitability, consistency, and the ability to meet clearly defined specifications. This allows each ingredient to be sourced in the way that best supports its quality, reproducibility, and intended use. Ingredient selection and verification form a core part of BioVerve’s approach.
